TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
When the following words are used in these Terms and Conditions, this is what they mean:
Luggage storage: Is the facility’s area dedicated to the storage of the luggage under safekeeping.
Holder or lessor: Is the person who offers the service of holding a good under safekeeping within its storage facilities.
Leaseholder or lessee: Is the person who hands in a good to the left-luggage office for its safekeeping.
2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The contract for the safekeeping of your luggage is made between you and the firm CITY LOCKER, owner of the name CITY LOCKER and of the webpage www.citylockergranada.com, that will carry out the safekeeping of your luggage. In registering your luggage at CITY LOCKER left-luggage office you agree to the Terms and Conditions of this contract on your behalf. If you decide to share a locker you will be asked to provide the personal information of the parties sharing the locker. In the event that youwish to allow a third party to be able to collect your luggage this person will need provide us with a written and signed authorization along with a photocopy of the ID of the owner of the luggage. These Terms and Conditions have a general scope and may be subject to changes given the request is made in writing and approved by management.
In the event of a request for storing and safekeeping luggage under specific instructions which result in being in conflict or discordant with these Terms and Conditions, and that have not been approved nor authorized by management, CITY LOCKER will not be compelled to follow the stated instructions.
3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The service provided by the left-luggage office consists in safekeeping your luggage within its facilities for the duration previously established in the safekeeping contract from the moment the luggage is handed-in up to the time and date of its collection specified in the safekeeping contract.
4. LUGGAGE ADIMTTED AT THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
At the time of the handing-in of the luggage, the lessee must declare the content of each luggage stating that the luggage is not fall into the descriptions of the unadmitted luggage stipulated in section 5.
Bags, suitcases, baskets, backpacks, and any similar piece of luggage will be accepted for storage subject to availability of storage space. Each piece of luggage must be properly shut.
CITY LOCKER is not accountable for any money, jewelry, precious metals, business documents or any other type of valuables in luggage as they fall under the description of unadmitted luggage stipulated in section 5.
The luggage must be handed-in by the owners, the legal representative of the latter or the physical owner of the luggage.
CITY LOCKER holds the right, with discretion, to refuse the storage of a determined piece of luggage.
5. LUGGAGE NOT ADMITTED AT THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
Luggage falling under the following list will not be accepted for safekeeping:
a. Luggage containing inflammable material or damageable goods that could produce unpleasant odors, or may cause the deterioration of the facilities of the left-luggage office or of other pieces of luggage left for safekeeping.
b. Luggage containing money, jewelry, precious metals, samples or business documents or any kind of valuables in general.
c. Pieces of luggage in ill condition may be refused, unless extraordinary circumstances when the lessee provides written declaration exonerating CITY LOCKER from any responsibility relative to the physical state or the damage of the content of the piece of luggage. If such be the case, the lessor will duly inform the lessee of the observed alterations by writing them down in the safekeeping contract (ref. section 8).
6. OPENING HOURS
Normal public opening hours are from 9.00 am to 21.00 pm Monday through Sunday.
7. STAFF IN CHARGE OF THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
The hand-in and safekeeping of the luggage services are run by the CITY LOCKER staff.
The staff is compelled to follow and enforce the rules that apply to the left-luggage service activity. The staff is enabled to cash the storage bills, sign receipts and bills, and carry out operations and acts in accordance to the present regulations.
8. ACCESS TO THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT REASONS
In additions to CITY LOCKER staff in charge of the controlling and providing of the service, the left- luggage office will always give access to its facilities to the police as well as national and local law enforcement providing the request is communicated in writing and for security reasons.
9. REGISTERING LUGGAGE AT THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
At the registering of the luggage the employee must fill out the left-luggage office’s safekeeping contract.
The original copy, with serial number, will remain at the left-luggage office; a receipt, with the same serial number as the original safekeeping contract, will be handed to the lessee. The piece of luggage will then be put under safekeeping and will be assigned a number and a locker. The key to the later will remain in the hands of the lessee. However, there will always be a master key kept at the main desk in case of emergency.
The employee is not under the obligation of verifying the identity of those requesting the registration of a luggage for its safekeeping at the left-luggage office.
The lessee will have to complete the payment at the registration of the luggage before being handed the receipt.
The prices for the storage and safekeeping of all pieces of luggage will be set by CITY LOCKER and will be displayed within the facilities in full view of the public and are specified here below:
The prices are indicated per piece of luggage:
Small piece of luggage:4-6-10-14 euros per piece depending on duration.
Hand luggage or cabin size luggage: 5-7-11-15 euros per piece depending on duration.
Medium size luggage: 7-9-13-17 euros per piece depending on duration.
Large luggage: 9-11-15-19 euros per piece depending on duration.
Extra-large luggage: 9-11-15-19 per piece depending on duration.
Special/unusual luggage: 11-13-17-21 euros per piece depending on duration.
11. COLLECTING LUGGAGE AT THE LEFT-LUGGAGE OFFICE
The luggage will be handed back to the holder of the receipt, after having proceeded to the payment of the amount for the storage and safekeeping of the luggage. In the event that the luggage has been under safekeeping for a longer duration than the minimum price duration the amount will be calculated according to the price list stipulated in section 10.
The employee in charge of the left-luggage office at the time of the collection of the luggage, is only compelled to verify the authenticity of the receipt. However, if the employee has reasonable doubts on whether the holder of the receipt is the legitimate owner of the pieces of luggage the holder of the receipt will be asked to provide the necessary proof of his ownership of the luggage. In the absence of such proof the luggage will remain at the left-luggage office until the proof of ownership is provided.
12. UNCLAIMED LUGGAGE
In the event that the luggage is not collected within one month of the agreed collection established at the time of registration, the unclaimed luggage is considered abandoned and the lessee will lose any right to refund or compensation for these pieces of luggage. CITY LOCKER will be enabled to sale and/or destroy and/or hold the luggage and its content.
13. FORGOTTEN LUGGAGE REQUEST
Forgotten luggage will be returned at the lessee’s expense including shipping expenses.
CITY LOCKER will return forgotten objects and belongings if claimed in good time (up until 30 days after the previously agreed collection date). If such be the case, the lessee will have to pay in advance all shipping expenses dependent on weight, size, destination, shipping company etc. with a fixed minimum cost of €200.
CITY LOCKER is not responsible for the natural deterioration and wear of any luggage registered under safekeeping at the left-luggage office if the damage is not a foreseeable result of CITY LOCKER’s doing or in relation with the circumstances of the safekeeping.
CITY LOCKER is not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable and caused by force majeure or natural events such as earthquakes, floods, etc… CITY LOCKER is not responsible for items or contents undeclared by the lessee.
Each piece of luggage registered for safekeeping at the left-luggage office’s facilities is insured up to a maximum of €150 per piece of luggage. This insurance covers damages and/or lose for which CITY LOCKER is directly responsible within the limits previously stipulated as well as theft by a third party.
Insurance coverage does not include precious metals or stones, watches, plasma screens, LCD, GPS navigators, mobile phones, computers, laptops, tablets, jewelry, cash, glass and crystal items, porcelain, artworks, antiques, documents or movies, tapes, CDs, memory sticks or memory cards, or any other device containing data or pictures.

16. CONDITIONS AND REVISION OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS
With the safekeeping contract the leaseholder agrees to the conditions stipulated in the here Terms and Conditions regulation of which a copy may be requested at CITY LOCKER left-luggage office. The later reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions in the event of unexpected situations that may occur during the conduct of the activity.
Both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Granada’s courts in the event of a litigation or argument that may arise from the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
